Bengals Advance to Tournament Championship with 2-1 Victory Over Eagles
Portland, OR--Idaho State outshot the Eagles 21-to-10 in the Bengals dominant 2-1 victory over Eastern Washington in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament. Senior Jana Davis-Boehler scored both of Idaho State's goals in the second half of the contest, her first two goals of the season. The Bengals advance to the Championship game on Sunday for the program's fifth appearance. Idaho State improved to 10-7-0 while Eastern Washington ended its season 7-9-2. (more)

Bengals Escape with 93-87 OT Exhibition Win Over UC-Colorado Springs
Pocatello, ID --- Broderick Gilchrest hit a tying three-pointer with 12.0 second left after UC-Colorado Springs missed the front end of a one-on-one, and the Bengals never trailed in the overtime period as ISU survived a scare from a hot-shooting UC-Colorado Springs squad 93-87 in overtime in front of 1,785 at Reed Gym. Freshman Ashley Jones earned 15 points during the season with five goals and five assists to be named Newcomer of the Year.

Jones Selected Newcomer of the Year; Seven Bengals Named to All-Conference Teams
Pocatello, ID--Idaho State had seven players named to Big Sky All-Conference Teams including two first team selections and four honorable mentions. Freshman midfielder Ashley Jones was named Newcomer of the Year. The selections were made by the Big Sky's eight head coaches in a vote Tuesday morning. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players. (more)
