Pocatello, ID --- "A Celebration of Dubby Holt's Life" will take place at the Thelma and L.E. Stephens Performing Arts Center on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 3:00 pm, and the program will feature a variety of speakers. Holt was 92 when he died of natural causes on Sunday, January 7.

Speakers on the docket include:

•I.J. "Babe" Caccia, Holt's longtime schoolmate, close friend, and a former coach and athletic director at Idaho State.
•Phil Luckey, Idaho State's long-time athletic trainer, and Holt's first hire when he became director of athletics in 1967.
•Glenn Alford, former sports information director and another of Holt's original hires.
•Paul A. Bubb, current Idaho State athletic director.
•Idaho State President Dr. Arthur C. Vailas.

Also, Jim Slaughter, Idaho State equipment manager, will be singing the Lord's Prayer. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to the Holt Scholarship Fund, care of the ISU Foundation.
