Ogden, UT --- The Big Sky Conference has announced the 2007 Fall Big Sky All-Academic teams, and Idaho State was well represented, as the Bengals equaled their fall record with 35 selections. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1)Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2)Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3)Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.

Last year Idaho State had 35 fall honorees, on the way to a school record 108 All-Academic selections. Eastern Washington led the way in the Big Sky with 42 picks, and Montana, Northern Colorado, and Weber State all had 36. It was actually an impressive fall season all the way around as the nine teams totaled 292 student-athletes, which also was a record for the fall season.
