Pocatello, ID --- Idaho State University Athletics and the Bengal Foundation will present the Colonel David Kirkpatrick Award to Ted Flandro to recognize his distinguished service to the Bengal Foundation. The award will be presented by Director of Athletics Paul A. Bubb on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at halftime of the ISU Men's Basketball regular season finale vs. Montana State.

Flandro has been an integral part of the Bengal Foundation for over 20 years. He served on the Executive Committee of the Bengal Foundation Board of Directors. Flandro, a long-time team captain during the annual Bengal Foundation membership drive, is one of the champions of the Bengal Foundation Auction, which will again take place this year on April 28.

To be eligible, a nominee must have at least 20 years of service and volunteer work with the Bengal Foundation and $100,000 in funds raised. Idaho State needs one win in their final two games to qualify for the conference tournament. They will host a game with two wins.
