Pocatello, ID --- Now that Idaho State dispatched nemesis #5 Montana 67-65 in the quarterfinals of the 2008 Intel Big Sky Conference Tournament, now the Bengals get an even bigger test as they will take on host #1 Portland State, winners of 12 straight conference games, on Tuesday night at 9:07 pm. The game will be available on the Bengals Radio Network at KSEI 930 ESPN Radio, and streamed via Cedar Hills Family Dentistry at www.isubengals.com. Russ Eisenstein will have the action there, and the game will also be broadcast on Altitude Sports.

The Bengals are in the semifinals for the first time since the 2004 season, when they lost to Northern Arizona in the semifinals. ISU is facing Portland State in the conference tournament for the first time in school history, and they will be looking for another first as well, as ISU is 0-6 against the #1 seed all-time.

The Bengals got here by winning another tight showdown with Montana, this one 67-65 in Holt Arena, as Logan Kinghorn recorded his fourth double-double of the season.

Portland State was the only team to sweep the Bengals this season. #2 Northern Arizona takes on #3 Weber State in the first semifinal at 6:37 pm Mountain Time.
