Pocatello, ID --- The final game of a three-game road swing sees the Idaho State Bengals head to Provo, Utah to take on the Brigham Young Cougars, who are the cusp of a national ranking. The game tips off at the Marriott Center on Tuesday night at 7:35 pm.

The Bengals are looking for their first win in Provo since the 1939 season, and their first win over BYU since 1977, as the Cougars have won the last six in the series. The road game is the final one of a three-game opening swing before ISU gets to head home and take on Colorado Christian on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm at Reed Gym as part of a big tripleheader in Reed Gym with the women's team hosting Boise State at 3:30 pm and the volleyball team playing Montana on senior night at 7:00 pm.

About The Bengals
Idaho State is 0-2 on the season, having lost their opener at Iowa State 88-68, and then losing a nail biter to Bradley 74-69 in Peoria. The Bengals had a lead at 63-62 with 2:55 left after a Broderick Gilchrest jumper, but the Braves took the lead back and then iced it with their 11th three-pointer of the game with 1:14 left to put them up five. Gilchrest had 19 points to led ISU in that game, with Amorrow Morgan adding 15. Demetrius Monroe had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Gilchrest is leading ISU in scoring, putting in 20 points per game so far, and Morgan is right behind him with a 16.5 scoring average. Monroe, who missed all of preseason and returned to action just two days before the season opener, has led ISU in rebounding in both games and is averaging 9.5 per contest.

As a team, the Bengals are shooting at a .444 clip, but they are just 4-for-20 from three-point range, a .200 mark. ISU is shooting .793 from the line for the season. They are getting outrebounded by one board so far 66-65. ISU's first two opponents have shot well, hitting .527 from the field and .486 from the three at 18-for-37.

About The Cougars
Brigham Young is just 1-0 on the season, having won their season opener at home against Bradley 70-60, the very same Bradley team that just hosted Idaho State. The Cougars got a nice game from Jimmer Fredette, who scored a game-high 25 points, including going 12-of-14 from the charity stripe. Also scoring in double-figures for the Cougars was Jonathan Tavarnari, who had 13 points, and Michael Loyd, Jr., who added 10.

Tyler Haws had a team-high seven rebounds as the Cougars spread the rebounding around, with 10 different players grabbing at least two.

As a team, the Cougars are shooting at a .400 clip, going just 22-for-55 against Bradley, but they were 7-for-19 from three-point range, a .368 mark. BYU is shooting .704 from the line for the season. They outreobunded Bradley 44-32 in their game, and they held the Braves to just a .360 shooting night, going 18-for-50, and harrassed them into 15 turnovers.
