Game Notes: Idaho State at Utah State
Pocatello, ID --- Fresh off their first win of the season and their best performance to date, the Idaho State men's basketball team will go out in search of a big road win when they travel across the state border to take on the Utah state Aggies on Tuesday night at the Dee Glenn Smith Spectrum at 7;05 pm on Tuesday night. The game will be available on The Bengal Radio Network, which is flagshipped at ESPN Radio 930 AM KSEI in Pocatello and KRXK 1230 AM in Idaho Falls. The Bengal Radio Network also contains stations in Idaho Falls (KGTM 98.1 FM) and Twin Falls (KTFI AM 1270 AM). Jerry Miller will have the play-by-play with Frank Mercogliano handling the halftime scoreboard. The game will also be available on internet video for a fee at www.utahstateaggies.com. and it will be on Comcast on Demand in Utah on a delay basis. About The Bengals
Morgan leads the team in scoring with a 17.8 scoring average, and Gilchrest isn't too far behind with a 14.8 scoring average as well. Demetrius Monroe is the leading rebounder averaging 10.5 per game, and he is second in the Big Sky as well. Gilchrest is leading the team with 10 assists and eight steals, while Austin Kilpatrick has five bloacks and six three-pointers. As a team, the Bengals are shooting at a .424 clip, but they are just 12-for-42 from three-point range, a .286 mark. ISU is shooting .744 from the line for the season. They are outrebounding their opponents by two, 137-135. ISU's opponents have shot well so far, shooting .475 from the field so far, and hitting 32-of-86 threes, a .372 mark. About The Aggies
Jared Quayle leads the Aggies in scoring at 14.7 points per game, and Bendall and Wesley join him in double-figures at 13.7 and 11.3 per game each. Quayle and Bendall have been a tough rebounding tandem, with Quayle at 9.7 per game and Bendall at 8.0 per game. Quayle has the triple crown, leading the team with nine assists as well. Utah State is shooting .442 from the field so far, and .378 from the three-point line, going 17-for-45. USU is also shooting a high percentage of .848 from the line, but their boogey-man defense isn't good as opponents are hitting .807 themselves.
