Brandon Mennear Named to National Football Foundation's National Honor Society

Irving, TX --- Brandon Mennear, a senior tight end on the 2006 Idaho State football team has been inducted into the inaugural class of the National Football Foundation's National Honor Society in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and on the playing field.

Mennear, who was Idaho State's Big Sky Scholar-Athlete award winner and was also the Babe Caccia Academic Award winner at the Southern Idaho Football Foundation Awards in May, was third on the team last season with 22 receptions.

He was listed among 348 players nationwide across all Divisions that represented 195 schools. Mennear was previously a semifinalist for the Draddy Award, considered the Academic Heisman Award.
