Pocatello, ID --- The 2009 Idaho State University football media guide is now online and available for downloading or viewing. This year, Idaho State is using www.issuu.com to house all of their guides, as www.issuu.com provides a better viewing experience that is more like reading a book then other online methods.

The guide is available on the lower right of the football page, and it does take a while to download, as it is 160 pages and it is 57.9 MB. The media guide is in a new format, designed by Asst. SID Katie Zigars. The football guide also features a newly redesigned record book that breaks out all the records by categories, with three pages of rushing records, three of passing records, and so on. In the past, the records were all mixed together.

The cover design was done by Asst. A.D. Frank Mercogliano, but the cover design templates were also designed by Zigars, who designed the look for all of the publications this year, including switching to a landscape design.

This year, Idaho State is not printing media guides as part of their "Go-Green Initiative" that was announced on Earth Day, an initiative that will cut out 3,000-lbs of printed paper, and also encompasses recycling bins at ISU events and other initiatives.
