Game Notes: #17 Eastern Washington at Idaho State

Pocatello, ID --- Idaho State University gets back on the horse this week just in time for Homecoming week as the Bengals will host their fourth consecutive nationally ranked team when ISU hosts the #17 Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday at 3;35 pm at Holt Arena.

The Bengals are 0-4 on the season, but just 0-1 in the conference, and will look to get back at Eastern Washington after the Bengals lost to the ranked Eagles last year in Cheney 45-31 after being tied at 31-31 after three quarters. The Eagles are 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big Sky, with their only loss coming against California. the Eagles defeated Northern Colorado 16-0 two weeks ago and then beat Sacramento State 56-30 on the road last week.

Idaho State fell behind 26-0 to Division II Central Washington last week after a poor four minute stretch that saw ISU fumble twice and throw an interception in the second quarter, leading to 17 quick points. The game was marred with 11 combined turnovers, and ISU had six, not including allowing both a safety and a blocked punt.

The game is Idaho State's Homecoming, and the Bengals are 32-32-3 all-time on Homecoming, and they have won six of the last eight Homecoming affairs.

The game will be available on The Bengal Radio Network, which is flagshipped at ESPN Radio 930 AM KSEI in Pocatello and KRXK 1230 AM in Idaho Falls. The Bengal Radio Network also contains stations in Idaho Falls (KGTM 98.1 FM) and Twin Falls (KTFI AM 1270 AM). The game will also be available on www.bigskytv.org, and it takes literally minutes to register for the free online feed.

This season, parking at Holt Arena costs $5 per car. All members of the Bengal Foundation should have received their parking passes which will get them into the lot for free for all five games, as well as all basketball games.
