San Jose, CA--The ISU men's golf teams finishes the Santa Clara Invitational in 14th place after completing the 3rd round of the tournament Tuesday morning. The Bengals posted a team score of 921(+57). Kyle Prolo led the Bengals with a tie for 39th place.

Prolo shot a 74(+2) in the first and second round followed by a 77(+5) in the third round for a total score of 225 (+9) to tie for 39th place. Junior, Mark Cowman tied for 47th place. Cowman started with a rough first round score of 83(+11) but recovered well with a second round score of 71(-1) and a third round score of 73(+1). He finished the tournament with a combined score of 227(+11). Dylan Meyer shot a three round score of 230(+14) to tie for 54th place. Steve Peters shot a three-round score of 239(+23) to take 72nd place.

University of Portland finished in first place at the tournament with a team score of 858(-6). Nick Delio of CSU-Northridge swept the tournament with a three-round score of 203(-13). Delio shot a 69(-3) his first round and a 67(-5) his second and third round. His par 3 scoring average was 2.83(-2) and his par 4 scoring average was 3.87(-4).

The Bengals will be back in action in the spring semester.
