Windsor, CO - Despite three of Idaho State's golfers improving upon their scores from their first round Idaho State fell from a third place spot to seventh in the D-1 Independent Championships.

After a first round of 69 strokes Kyle Prolo shot a 76 in the second round to drop him from a tie in 2nd place to 11th place in the tournament. Mark Cowman scored another 74 to bring him from 22nd place to 18th. Dylan Meyer, Steven Peters, and Jeremy Colson all improved upon their first round scores.

The championship is led by Sacramento State. Sacramento State is only 6 strokes ahead of Northern Colorado at 570, 5 under par. Eric Jensen of North Dakota State leads all golfers after scoring a 67 in the second round. Jensen sits at 5 under par.
