REVIEW
The men's team competed in four matches over the week against Utah, Idaho, Wichita State and Air Force. The Bengals ended the weekend with an 0-4 record and a season record of 1-6, but had two close matches of 4-3 against Idaho and Air Force. The men hold a 14-28, .333 individual season record. Senior Marc Pijoan leads the Bengals with a 5-2 singles record, followed by freshman Danel Barrenechea with a 4-3 singles record.

#1 SPOT PIJOAN
Senior, Marc Pijoan finished the weekend with a 2-2 singles record. Gaining victories over Idaho and Air Force. Pijoan started the weekend off with a loss. He collected the most games for the Bengals in his match against Utah but was defeated in straight sets. Zach Ganger ended Pijoan's undefeated season of 3-0 defeating him 6-2, 6-4. Pijoan easily gains a victory over Stanislov Glukhov of Idaho 6-4, 6-2. Pijoan then defeated Air Force's Brett Rodgers in their second meeting. The first set was identical to the previous week with Pijoan taking charge at 7-5 in set. However Rodgers did manage to gain a game more off of Pijoan in the second set than their meeting last week. Pijoan defeated Rodgers 7-5, 6-2 at the number one spot.

MEN'S UTAH AND IDAHO RESULTS
The Bengals traveled to Utah University and were swept by Utah 7-0. The Bengals lost a close dual match against Idaho 4-3. Javier Royo lost a close first set 7-5 to Timothy Huynh of Idaho which fired him up to take the next two sets 6-1, 6-2 to seal his victory at the number two spot. Freshman Barrenechea also went to three sets with his opponent Robert Chalkley. He fell took the first set easily 6-1, but fell in the second set 6-1. Barrenechea fought back to take the third set 6-2

MEN'S WICHITA STATE RESULTS Freshman Alex Buceta and and sophomore Javier Royo gained the doubles victory for the Bengals by defeating Matt Teivans and Scott McCormick 8-5 at the number three doubles spot.

MEN'S AIR FORCE RESULTS
The Bengals began the match well winning their first doubles point as a team with victories at the number one and number two spots. Senior Marc Pijoan and freshman Danel Barrenechea defeated the sophomore Brett Rodgers and freshman Taylor Soster, 9-8 with a tie breaker score of 7-3. Pijoan and Barrenechea fell to Rodgers and Soster last weekend with a tie breaker score of 7-4. Javier Royo, a sophomore and Alex Buceta, a freshman, defeated sophomores Austin Francis and James Tomlin, 8-4, at the number two spot. A flopped image of last weekend when Buceta and Royo were defeated 8-4. In singles, freshman Barrenechea also defeated his opponent for the second time this season. Barrenechea flipped the results of his first and second sets from their last meeting. He gained his victory over James Tomlin 6-4, 6-3 at the number three spot.
