Ben Allen is returning for his second year as an assistant coach for the Bengals after helping to coach the multi-events and pole vault last season.
Allen competed for ISU for four years in the decathlon and jumps. Allen was the Big Sky outdoor champion in the triple jump and pole vault in 2004 and has been a two-time qualifier for the NCAA Regional Championships. He holds three of the top-five marks in school history in the triple jump.
He is a native of Filer, Idaho where he competed in basketball and track at Filer High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Idaho State University in 2004.
