2005-06: Competed in multiple events during the indoor and outdoor seasons... Indoors he recorded a time of 10.07 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Mountian States Games (2/4)... He ran 7.37 in the 60-meter dash at the Mountain States Games... Cleared 6-1 in the high jump at the Intermountain Championships (3/4)... Long jumped 21-0.75 at the Mountain State Games... Cleared 10-4 in the pole vault at the Mountain State Games... Had a season-best of 44-5 in the triple jump at the Intermountain Championships... 2004-05: Competed for the Bengals during the outdoor season... Finished his only decathlon of the season with a point total of 4878 at the Spring Break Open (3/17)... Jumped a seaon best of 6-0.50 at the Spring Break Open (3/17) in the high jump... Recorded a season best of 20-7.75 in the long jump at the ISU Springfest (4/30).

High School: Earned two letters in football, three in basketball, and four in track for Declo High School... In football, Josh earned All-Conference Offensive and Defensive honors as well as team offensive player of the year... In basketball, he was team defensive player of the year... As a freshman, he medaled in the high jump at the state meet and qualified as a sophomore... Was the state champion in the 4x400 and medley relays as well as school record holder... He placed third in the triple jump at state as a junior and was state champion his senior year, while also placing second in the high jump and fourth in the long jump... He also holds school records in the triple jump and 200 meter dash... He was a member of the 2002 State Runner-Up team in basketball... Member of the 2000 State Championship track team... Graduated with honors in math... Was a member of the Homecoming Court.
