Maureen Griffin enters her first season with the Bengals as a graduate assistant coach for the Bengals. A member of Idaho State's track and field program for the past three years, Griffin will work with the ISU throwers.

A three-time All-American in the hammer throw and an All-American in the weight throw, Griffin has won numerous Big Sky Conference titles. She also owns the ISU records for both the weight throw and the hammer throw.

A native of Pocatello, Griffin attended Pocatello High School where she was the national record holder in the high school hammer throw. She was a three-time junior national champion in the hammer throw.

After high school she attended the University of Arizona for a year where she was the 1999 Pac-10 champion in the hammer.

Griffin earned a degree from ISU in physical education and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in physical education from ISU.
