2004-05 Track: Competed in six meets during the indoor season including the NCAA National Championships...Placed eighth in the 800-meter run at the Big Sky Conference Championships (2/26)...Ran a season-best of 1:53.48 in the 800-meter run at the Bobcat Duals (2/11)...Also ran a season-best 1-Mile run at the Bobcat Duals in a time of 4:05.50...Placed 15th at the NCAA National Indoor Championships (3/12) in the 1-Mile run clocking a 4:10.93...Placed third at the BSU Multi Dual (1/22) in the 3000-meter run crossing the tape at 8:35.07...During one point in the outdoor season Hoffman boasted the fasted 1500-meter run in the nation...He finished the season with a personal-best time of 3:39.63 in the 1500-meter run in the NCAA National Outdoor Championship(6/10) preliminary round...He went on to run a 3:41.80, his second fastest time ever, in the finals which was good for 10th place...Placed fourth at the NCAA Regional Championships (5/27) running a 3:45.31...Was also the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Champion (5/14) in the 1500-meter run...Won the Big Sky Conference title in the 800-meter run outdoors posting a season-best time of 1:52.04 in the process...Ran a 4:02.60 1-Mile run at the Robison Invitational (4/23) winning the event...Placed second in the 5000-meter run at the Al Manuel Invitational (4/2) running a 14:51.91.

2003-04 Track: Red-shirted

2003 Cross Country: Led the Bengal men in every race during the season... Hoffman recorded four top three finishes, including two titles... Ran way to a first place finish with a time of 25:39.39 at the Montana State Invitational (9/20)... Also took the title at the Southern Utah Invitational (10/18) with a time of 24:01.27 at the 8-kilometer race... Placed second at the ISU Season Opener (8/30) with a time of 18:19 over the 6,000-meter course... Placed seventh at the Big Sky Championships with a time of 26:18 over the 8-kilometer course.... Placed 17th at the NCAA Regionals with a time of 31:30 over the 10-kilometer race.

2002-03 Track: Ran his way to a first place finish in the 800-meters with a time of 1:53.66 at the Dominos Pizza All-Comers Meet (1/25)... Finished in first place three times in the mile run... Big Sky Champion in the mile, finishing with a time of 4:12.8 (3/1)... Ran at NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark... Finished first at the Snake River Open in the 3,000-meter with a time of 8:41.97 (1/18)...Also finished first in the 3,000-meters at the Montana State Dual meet with a time of 8:38.69 (2/21).

2002 Cross Country: Was the top finisher for the Bengals in all six meets... Had four top-20 finishes on the season, including a second place finish at the ISU Invitational... He was edged out by former Bengal Emry Carr at the ISU Invitational, finishing second in 25:35 for the eight-kilometer course... Took 13th place at the Montana Invitational with a time of 26:01 for the eight-kilometer course... Was the top Bengal finisher and 17th overall at the Big Sky Conference Championships with a time of 26:26 for the eight kilometer course... Finished 38th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with a time of 31:18 for the 10-kilometer course.

2001-02 Track: Placed in two events indoors and two outdoors at the Big Sky Championships... Ran his best indoor 800-meter time of the season, 1:55.31, in the prelims of the Big Sky Indoors, on his way to a seventh place finish... Followed that up with a time of 4:14.22 in the mile, good for fifth in the Big Sky... His best time of the season in the mile came at the Montana State Triangular, running a 4:09.70, good for second... His time of 1:52.60 in the Big Sky 800-meter prelims was a season best and vaulted him into the finals where he took sixth... Won his first four 1,500-meter races of the season... His best time of the season came at the Big Sky Championships in which he took third with a 3:47.15 clocking, an NCAA provisional qualifying time.

2001 Cross Country: Was among the ISU top three at all but one meet during the season... Ran in all seven of the Bengals' competitions... Was the individual champion of the ISU Invitational to open the season.

2000-01 Track: Competed in the 800-meter, 1500-meter and 3000-meter during the outdoor season... Represented ISU in the 800-meter and 1500-meter at the Big Sky Championships as a freshman... Finished sixth in the 1500 with a time of 3:55.08 and 11th in the 800-meter with a clocking of 1:54.34... Best finish of the year was third in the 800-meter at the Bronco Open to start the season... Best 800-meter mark of the year was 1:54.00 at the Mark Faldmo Invitational... Ran one 3000-meter race clocking a 9:13.62 at Springfest... Ran the mile in four meets during the indoor season... Was 10th in the event at the Big Sky Championships... Best time and finish of the season was second at the Montana State Dual with a clocking of 4:18.53... Was a member of the No. 10 ISU distance medley team of all-time... The team clocked a 10:03.13 to earn second place at the Big Sky Championships meet.

High School: Played rugby, cricket, baseball and soccer as well as competing in swimming, cross country and track at Bellingen High School... Was sixth in the 2000 Australian Cross Country Championships... Was named New South Wales cross country team captain... Set the Bellingen school records in the 400-meter, 800-meter and 1500-meter his senior year... Team placed first at the Australian Cross Country Championships.

Personal: Parents are Bernie and Helen Hoffman... Has two siblings, Kylie and Brett... Majoring in Physical Education.
