Finished fifth at the Intermountain Championships (3/8) in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.43 after running a time of 8.35 in the prelims... Clocked best time of 8.24 in the 55-meter hurdles twice during the season... Ran his way to best time of the year in the 60-meter hurdles at the Dominos Pizza All-Comers Meet, posting a 9.21 time.

2001-02: Competed outdoors for the Bengals in six meets as a freshman... Best time in the 110-hurdles was a hand timed 16.84 at the ISU Twilight meet where he took third place... At the ISU Springfest Meet he just missed his personal best, running a wind-aided 16.85... Had his best 400-hurdles time of the season at the Weber State Invitational in which he ran a hand-timed 1:03.74... He just missed that mark with a 1:04.64 at the Boise State Triangular, good for sixth place at the meet.

High School: Earned four letters in track and two in basketball at Raft River High School... Was state champion in the 110-hurdles and 300-hurdles as a senior... Was also dubbed team MVP for the 2001 season... Owns the school records in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles... Team placed first in the state in 2000...
