2007-08 Track: Competed in the pole vault during the indoor and outdoor seasons as a freshman... Captured eighth place at the Big Sky Indoor Championships (2/29) by clearing a height of 15-05.75... Also took fourth place in the 200-meter dash at the MSU Open (2/1), running a time of 23.42 seconds... Cleared 15-04.25 at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (5/17) to finish 10th.
High School: Played football, basketball, soccer and ran track at Payette High School... Won the 3A state championship in the pole vault as a senior in 2003... Helped his team win the state track and field championship as a senior... Was first-team all-state as a quarterback, kicker and punter at Payette, and made second team as a linebacker.
