Idaho State is hosting the Idaho State Dual, its first meet of the season. ISU will be competing against Southern Utah at the Centennial Course in Pocatello on Saturday, Sept. 1. Idaho State has been practicing the past two weeks in preparation for the meet.

MEN'S PRESEASON POLLS
In the Big Sky Conference preseason polls, the Idaho State men's team is expected to take fifth place as they received 32 points. The men's team has a great number of returning players, including sophomore Taylor Hansen, senior Tysun Rickards, senior Branden Teeter and senior Landen Teeter. The last event that the Bengals ran on the Centennial Course was the ISU Albertson College Dual on Sept. 16 of last season. Branden Teeter finished the course in 19:55 with Landen Teeter following at 20:02. Tyson Rickards ran a time of 20:29 and Taylor Hansen ran the course in 20:46.
WOMEN'S PRESEASON POLLS
In the Big Sky Conference preseason polls the Idaho State women's team is also expected to take fifth place as they received 32 points. With a heavy freshman team for the Bengals they will be leaning on the experienced runners of senior Jessica Bobert, sophomore Kerynn Davis, and sophomore Gemma Maini. The last event that the Bengals ran on the Centennial Course was the ISU Albertson College Dual on Sept. 16 of last season. Gemma Maini finished the course in 16:12. Kerynn Davis ran a respectable time of 17:18 while Jessica Bobert ran the course in 18:21.
