Idaho State traveled to Cedar City, Utah on Oct. 11 to compete in the Color Country Invitational. The women's squad notched its first victory of the season, narrowly holding off Southern Utah and Utah Valley to capture the team title as three Bengals finished in the top 10. The men's squad finished third out of four teams, with Ryan Davis and Logan Torgison notching top 10 finishes.

ABOUT THE ISU DUAL
ISU will host Montana State and the College of Idaho in the second home meet of the season at the Centennial Course. The Bengals have not faced Montana State this season. ISU faced College of Idaho in the Bob Firman Invitational in Boise. The men finished fifth to College of Idaho's third, while the women took second and C of I took fifth.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
ISU earned its first race victory of the season, scoring 37 points to edge Southern Utah by five points. Gemma Maini finished second overall, but was the highest-finishing attached runner, completing the 5K course in 18:52.8 for her fourth top 5 finish of the season. Kris Thomasberg finished fifth in 19:20.7, and sophomore Erica Wendt also turned in a top 10 finish, placing 8th in 19:36.0. The rest of ISU's runners were Kerynn Davis (12th, 19:46.7), Cydney Jacobsen (18th, 20:10.4), Bradi Hutchison (19th, 20:13.6), Chealse Kropushek-Miller (25th, 20:38.7) and Mandi Janowitz (30th, 21:08.0).

MEN'S RESULTS
ISU scored 71 points in Cedar City, finishing third ahead of Dixie State. Ryan Davis notched his second top 10 of the season, running the 8K course in 26:26.20 to finish ninth. Logan Torgison finished right behind Davis, running a 26:35.60 to take 10th. The rest of ISU's runners were Zach Barrett (17th, 27:19.2), Aaron Wolfe (25th, 28:20.0), Chaz Anestos (27th, 28:30.2), Kyle Sauer (30th, 28:54.7), Scott Pearson (31st, 29:12.6), Eric Strand (33rd, 29:28.4) and Erik Solberg (35th, 30:39.8).
