The guard/forward has been one of the top junior players in Australia over the last five years. The Australian point guard is ready to begin her career at Idaho State after taking her redshirt season last year.
High School: She has played for her state team at the Australian National Championships each of the last five years... At the 2003 Championships she averaged 12 points and eight rebounds... At the 2002 Championships she averaged 16 points and seven rebounds... Also helped her high school to four straight junior state league titles... Last season she averaged 20 points, four rebounds and six assists a game for Radford College High School... She was named team MVP three times... As a junior she averaged 18 points, five rebounds and four assists... Helped her team to four straight Junior State League Titles... Also competed in soccer and netball for Radford.
Personal: Parents are Arlene and Tony Hiew... Has two brothers, Ross and Daniel, and a sister, Rebecca... Plans to major in Biology at ISU.
