2005-06: Started 28 games for Idaho State and saw playing time in all 30... Was named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Year after collecting 231 rebounds, 30 steals, and 24 blocks... Recorded five double-doubles on the season--the fourth-best total in the Big Sky... Connected on 8-of-16 shots from the field for a career-high 21 points against in-state rival Idaho (12/10)... Tallied 10 or more rebounds eight times, and had totals of 15 or more rebounds in three games... Scored 10 or more points in 15 games and scored 15 or more points in eight games... Had a career-high 18 rebounds in a win over St. Martins (11/30)... Scored 19 points with nine points against Montana State (3/4), which clinched ISU's second-ever Big Sky regular season title... Scored 20 points against Weber State (3/10) in the Big Sky Conference Tournament semifinal game... Scored 15 points at Kansas State (3/17) in the first round of the WNIT...

College of Southern Idaho (2004-05): Helped team to the NJCAA national championship game and a region 18 title... Averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds for the Eagles last season, including a 50.4 clip from the field... Received All-Region Second Team honors...

Montana State (2003-04): Averaged 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 29 games for the Bobcats... Shot a team-high 46.6 percent from the field, putting in 55-of-118 shots... Helped team to the Big Sky Tournament semifinals, where the team fell 56-63 to Idaho State.

High School: Prepped at Galena High School in Reno, Nevada, where she lettered in basketball, volleyball, and track... Received First-Team All-State honors with the Grizzlies... Averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and six steals per game during her senior campaign... As a sophomore, she helped GHS to the Nevada state title... Broke state record for career kills in volleyball.

Personal: Parents are Steve and Jean Hixon... Plans to study mass communications, advertising, and marketing... Hixon comes from athletic background as her father played football at Nevada under Hall of Fame coach Chris Ault.
