The guard formerly known as Camile Christensen, now Camile Michaelson, came off the bench to give the Bengals depth at the guard position last season. Played in all 29 of ISU's games during the 2003-04 season, Michaelson averaged 13.9 minutes a contest.
2003-04: Averaged 4.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steals a game off the bench... Recorded a career-high 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting against Utah (1/5)... Also recorded a career-high four assists against Utah... Scored 11 points in Idaho State's season-opener against Lewis-Clark State (11/22)... Also tallied 11 points against Denver (12/5)... Received her only start of the season against Montana State (1/17), scoring seven points on 4-of-4 from the free throw line... Had a nine point performance against Montana (1/15)... Also had a nine point performance against 1/22).
Utah Valley State: In 2002-03 Michaelson was UVSC's leading scorer and was named Honorable Mention National Junior College All-American after leading the Thunderbirds to the 25-7 overall record and a Scenic West Athletic Conference title... She averaged 11.6 points, pulled down 4.3 rebounds, had 5.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game for UVSC... She also earned All-Region 18 honors for her play... Earned honor roll recognition during her time at UVSC.
High School: Standout for Panguitch High School in basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track and field... Was a two-time Class A State Most Valuable Player for PHS... Helped PHS to three Class A state championships in basketball... Earned All-State honors for the javelin in track and field... Strong in the classroom, earning High Honor Roll recognition.
Personal: Parents are Scott and Joyce Christensen... Has five siblings, Casey, Mckenzie, Kelsey, Colby and Makell... Husband is Gordon... Majoring in Dietetics.
