Bengals Fall to Tournament Host Nevada 74-66 Despite Another Huge Game from Doma

Reno, NV --- One day after upsetting UCLA at the John Ascuga's Nugget Classic, the Idaho State Bengals fall in the final to tournament host Nevada 74-66. ISU is now 5-3 on the season. Nevada improves to 5-2.

Natalie Doma led the Bengals with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Andrea Lightfoot scored 19 points and Michelle Grohs grabbed a season high 10 rebounds. The Bengals were only able to get six points from their bench while the Wolfpack bench chipped in 25 points. The game was close throughout with neither team leading by more than eight points at any point in the game.

Nevada got 32 points from Dellana Criner and 19 points from Johnna Ward. The Wolfpack held the Bengals to no fast break points.

Idaho State will have to wait more than a week for their next game when the head out to Corvallis, Oregon to take on Oregon State. After that, the Bengals will have four straight home games, including their Big Sky opener against Northern Colorado on January 3rd.
