Pocatello, ID --- Idaho State University's women's basketball team, which qualified for their second ever trip to the NCAA Tournament and their fourth postseason trip in the last seven years, will find out their fate as the brackets for the 2007 NCAA Women's Championship will be announced live on ESPN at 6:00 pm Mountain Time on Monday, March 12.

The team, which defeated Northern Arizona 84-78 on Saturday night, will return to Pocatello on Sunday afternoon. Ticket information will be available on the NCAA's official championship site www.ncaachampionships.com for whichever region ISU is selected to go to.

The first round of the NCAA Tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18. Ironically, Idaho State's men's team scored one of the greatest upsets in NCAA men's tournament history on March 17, 1977, thirty years previous, when the Bengals defeated #2 UCLA 76-75.

The university invites all fans to an NCAA sendoff party prior to the team boarding their busses to head to the NCAA Tournament. The exact time and date will be announced on ISU's website www.isubengals.com, as well as through all media outlets.
