Pocatello, ID-- The Bengals will finally host their first home game after a month of competition that included seven road games to start the season. ISU will host Montana Western on Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:05 p.m. after the longest road streak since the 1980-81 season. The Bengals head into the game with a 2-5 record and post 1-3 away and 1-2 neutral record. The Bengals had a winning streak of two defeating Alcorn State and Utah State, but are currently on a three-game losing streaking that the Bengals hope to end just as December begins.

Idaho State has shown a solid defensive effort against their opponents and leads the Big Sky Conference in three-point field goal percentage defense as the Bengals have allowed their opponents to convert only 24.8 percent of their shots from the arc going 31-of-125. ISU is the second place leader in scoring defense as they have allowed their opponents to average just 65.7 over seven games. The Bengals continue to outshoot their opponents from the arc as they are 46-of-146 for 31.5 percent accuracy. In blocked shots, ISU is tied at 27 with its opponents. The Bengals are currently ranked 261 in the country out of 342 teams.

Oana Iacovita continues to lead the team in scoring as she averages 12.7 points per game with senior Michelle Grohs the only other Bengal to record double-digits in averages, she posts 10.7 points per game. Iacovita and Grohs lead the rebounding effort. Iacovita has recorded 62 rebounds so far this season to average 8.9, while gross has pulled down 46 rebounds for 6.6 per game. Iacovita, the 6-2 forward from Romania, leads the team shooting 42.3 percent going 33-for-78, while swing-man Grohs leads the Bengals from the arc as she is 13-for-31 for a 41.9 percent accuracy.

Included in the game notes is the second addition of the "Through the Eyes of Lip Photo Gallery" as KISU's 91.1 FM women's basketball radio announcer Mark Liptak took photos of the Bengals during their road trip to the Loyola Marymount Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Tournament.
