Bengal Women Finish 15th at the Red Rocks Invitational

Sedona, AZ --- The Idaho State women's golf team completed competition in the Red Rocks Invitational tournament in Sedona, Arizona where they finished 15th. Hannah Venn was the Bengals top individual shooting a 168 for the two day tournament and came in 50th place.

Venn shot a 79 on day one of the tournament and was in 13th place. She fell back a bit and shot an 89 on day two. Alysia Hall was the next best Bengal coming in 81st with a 183 (+39). Katrina Phillips was 84th with a score of 188 (+44). Sadie Venn was right behind her in 85th place. She shot a 193 (+49). Kylie Smith was the final Bengal in the tournament. Smith shot a 203 (+59) to finish 87th. As a team the Bengals shot a 723 (+147) to finish 15th out of 15 teams.

Catherin Fortin of Eastern Michigan was the individual champion with a 150 (+6). She helped the Eagles shot a 150 (+6) and take the team title.

The Bengals will next head to St. George, Utah to take part in the Dixie Classic on April 1-2.
