Bulldog and Eagle Invite Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

Spokane, Wash. - After the first day of the Bulldog and Eagle Invitational, the Idaho State women's golf team is currently in 14th place. After shooting 36 holes, the Bengals have combined for a team score of 676, 19 shots behind 13th-place Utah Valley.

Junior Kylee Smith and freshman Kaylee Gibbons lead the way for ISU both tied for 43rd place overall. Both shot a 79 (+7) in the first round followed by a second-round score of 83 (+11) for a total of 162 on the day on the 6,077-yard par-72 Hangman Valley Golf Course.

Senior Katrina Phillips shot a 171 and is currently tied for 70th while freshman Julia DiGiallonardo and junior Sadie Venn shot a 181 and 184 respectively. DiGiallonardo finished in 81st place while Venn sits in 82nd.

Northern Arizona currently leads on the team side of the tournament with a score of 604 while junior Sage Suffecool of Gonzaga University leads individually with a day-one total of 144.

The Bulldog and Eagle Invitational will conclude tomorrow after another round of 18 holes beginning at 7:30 a.m. PST.
