BENGAL GOLF THIS WEEK
The Idaho State golf team will travel to Chula Vista, Calif., Monday, Oct. 12 for the two-day Aztec Fall Classic. The tournament will be held at the par 71, 6,319-yard Salt Creek Golf Course and will be hosted by San Diego State's women's `B' team. Cal Poly, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State San Marcos and UC Riverside will also be in attendance. The event will begin at 8 a.m. Monday followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Check www.isubengals.com for resutls following each round.

BENGAL CATCH-UP
As a team, Idaho State finished the Bulldog and Eagle Invite in 14th place with a team score of 1008. Junior Kylie Smith shot an 81 (+9) in the third and final round of the Bulldog and Eagle Invitational Tuesday to finish tied for 47th place with Seattle University's Caitlin McCleary, Gonzaga's Stephanie Corey, McNeese's Jordan Nixon and Montana State's Kelly O'Brien. Over the three rounds Smith shot a 243 (+27) to lead the Bengals.

ISU COACHING STAFF
Bengal Head Coach Kellie Hooper is in her first season with Idaho State. Hooper graduated from ISU in 1998 and served as a volunteer coach for the Bengals last season leading the team to their highest Big Sky Conference finish in five years.
