QUICKLY
The Bengals took 14th place in the Lamkin Cup/Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational on Tuesday morning at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course. The women's team posted a two-round team score of 659(+83).
FALL SEASON WRAPUP
Senior, Hannah Venn has had an excellent fall season with a shot average of 84.22. Venn has finished in the top 20 this season at the 2007 Firestone Grill Cal Poly Women's Invitational. Katie Phillips has the second highest shot average with an 84.78. Over the season the women have improved their finishes in tournaments. Recently, the Bengals finished 14th in the Cal Poly Invitational out of 19 teams.
CAL POLY INVITATIONAL
Hannah Venn led the Bengals and improved her standing in the tournament to a tie for 11th place with a two-round score of 151(+7). Venn shot a 76(+4) in the first round and a 75(+3) in the second round. Katrina Phillips tied for 40th place with a first round score of 84(+12) and a second round score of 78(+6) for a combined two-round score of 162(+18). Freshman, Sadie Venn tied for 88th place with a combined score of 168(+24). Alysia Hall tied for 88th place with a two-round score of 179. Emily Evans captured 94th place with a two-round score of 182(+38).
