Has developed into the heart and soul of the ISU defense after three years manning the back line for the Bengals... Has started and played in all 62 games over the last three years and is on pace to break both the ISU records for games played and started in a career in 2004... Ranks 11th in ISU history in total assists with eight and is 10th in assists per game with .130. 2003: Had her best season to date, earning first team All-Big Sky Conference honors and Big Sky Tournament MVP recognition as the Bengals won their third straight Big Sky Conference Championship with Christensen on the squad... Played and started all 21 games despite battling some midseason injuries... Was one of just four players to start and play in all 21 games... Had three assists for the season, tying for third on the team in the category... Took five shots, four on goal... Anchored the back line that shut out #14 Utah for 110 minutes as the Bengals advanced to the second round of the NCAA College Cup for the first time in school history... That shutout was part of a 338:51 scoreless streak, the second longest such streak in ISU history... The Bengal back line shut out the Utes, despite 24 UU shots, including 12 on goal... Helped the Bengals post six shutouts on the season, the second most in school history... The ISU defense allowed just a 1.21 goals-against average... Christensen and the Bengals were at their best over the last seven games, allowing just four goals as ISU went 5-1-1... Started the season strong, assisting on a goal in the Bengals 3-1 victory over Utah Valley State (8/29)... Picked up her second assist of the season against Southern Utah in the Bengals 6-2 victory (9/18)... Her biggest assist came on a corner kick as Shawna Park headed Christensen's kick into the back of the net for the only goal of the game and a 1-0 ISU victory over Northern Arizona in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals (11/6). 2002: Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference recognition... Was named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week after scoring her first career goal against Youngstown State and helping the team to just one goal allowed in a two-game stretch at the University of Arizona Tournament... Was also named to All-Tournament team in Arizona... Notched her first assist of the season in the Bengals 3-0 win over Sacramento State (10/25)... Assisted on one of the most important goals in ISU history; Stacey Allen's game-winner in overtime in the Big Sky Conference Championship game (11/9).
2001: Played nearly every minute of all 20 of ISU's contests including the NCAA First-Round matchup with Portland ... tallied three assists on the year, including both game-winners against Montana and Weber State in the Big Sky Tournament ... both tournament assists came on corner kicks ... also recorded the helper on ISU's lone goal in the loss to Valparaiso ... registered five shots, two on goal, while starting all 20 games ... was named to the Big Sky All-Tournament team ... recorded the third-most number of assists on the ISU squad ... was also among the top 10 in the league in assists with her total of three ... High School: Earned NIAA Prep Athlete of the Week honors during her career at Bonanza High School ... was named to the 2001 All-Southern Nevada Team and All-Southwest Division MVP ... team went to the state finals her sophomore year and to the state semifinals her junior season ... also ran track for Bonanza, earning sprinter of the year honors her freshman season ... also played tennis for the Bengals, winning the 2000 Regional doubles title ... was also named Prom Queen ...
