www.citizensforholt.com Debuts, Learn why you should vote yes on February 5

The Holt Arena Bond Vote is February 5

Jan. 13, 2008

Pocatello, ID --- On February 5, 2008, a historic bond vote will take place in both Pocatello and Chubbuck that will foretell the future of Holt Arena, the most influential building in Southeast Idaho. Now, you can learn all about this important vote, and what Holt Arena truly means to Southeast Idaho by visiting www.citizensforholt.com, a website paid for by the non-profit groups Citizens For Holt.

The website features pages on the history of Holt Arena, the economic impact the building has on the region, how the building truly serves the purpose of a community civic center, and what a yes vote means for the future of not only Holt Arena, but for Pocatello and Chubbuck.

The site has some very interesting facts and figures, such as that in 2007, of the 94 events hosted by Holt Arena, only 29 were University related, and 65 were non-university related, meaning that over 2/3s of the use of Holt Arena was community based, proving the building's worth as a community Civic Center. Economically, Holt Arena facilitates an estimated $50 annually to the Southeast Idaho economy due to the civic events that it hosts, and of course Holt Arena has been around for 38 years. Just alone the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo and the Simplot games combine to add nearly $7 million to Southeast Idaho's community.

Please visit www.citizensforholt.com, and learn why a yes vote on February 5 will ensure the viability of Holt Arena, a building that has impacted everyone's life in Southeast Idaho for the better, for generations to come.
