Schedule/Results | Roster | News | Archives Boehler Named Big Sky Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Sept. 10, 2007
Ogden, UT--Idaho State's Jana Boehler has been named Big Sky Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to a pair of wins last week over Boise State and Idaho, helping the Bengals to a second-straight Governor's Cup title. Boehler shares the honor with Sacramento State forward Katie McCoy. Boehler, a native of Provo, Utah, scored a goal in each of Idaho State's victories last week over in-state rivals Boise State and Idaho. The sophomore forward scored ISU's first goal in a 5-2 victory over Boise State and put in the game-winning score against Idaho. Boehler registered an assist in the win over Idaho. In all, Boehler tallied two goals, one game-winning goal, one assists, and five points last week. She also led ISU with nine shots, six on goal. Boehler and the rest of the Bengals take their two-game win streak on the road this week as the team travels to Utah and Utah State. In a rematch of last year's NCAA College Cup first round game, Idaho State will take on Utah Friday night in Salt Lake City. Opening kick is set for 7:30 p.m. |
