Moved up as the season went, going from number three to number two singles... Was 8-5 at number two singles for PSUand had a 4-7 mark at number three for the Vikings... Played number one doubles with Katie Owens for the Vikings... Had success against her current teammates during the 2002-03 season... Defeated Melanie Kranz of ISU at number two singles in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals, 6-4, 6-3 (4/25)... Earlier in the season in Pocatello, Cockrell defeated Kranz in dramatic fashion, 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 (4/13)... Rallied to defeat Anna Skogerboe of San Francisco, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 (4/9)...
