         <description><![CDATA[<b>Pocatello, Idaho</b> - Senior Cassie Merkley and junior Amanda Vink-Johnston led the Idaho State women's track and field team to victories over Southern Utah, North Dakota, Utah, Utah State and Utah Valley Friday at the Bengal Shoot Out. Merkley finished second in the 60-meter hurdles scored preliminary round and third in the final with a time of 8.80. Merkley also tied for third in the women's high jump with teammate Vink-Johnston with a distance of 1.68 meters. Vink-Johnston also placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.28 meters.]]></description>
