2005: Ranked third on the team in kills in just her first season with the Bengals, averaging 157 on the season... Also ranked third on the team, averaging 1.59 kills per game... Posted a career-high 11 kills on three occasions... Recorded seven kills without a single error against Montana-Western (9/6)... Recorded a career-high 39 attacks against Portland State (9/22)... Followed up that performance with 37 attacks against Eastern Washington (9/25)... Ranked second on the team in blocks with 82 on the year... Had a season-best seven blocks at Montana (11/12), helping the team clinch a spot in the Big Sky Conference Tournament... Posted a season-high seven digs against Weber State (10/1).

High School: Was a standout volleyball player for both San Lorenzo Valley and Presentation High School in California... Received All-League honors in volleyball for three consecutive years... Was named Most Valuable Player twice... Was also an All-League softball player... Led volleyball team to the western nationals... Her club team also placed second at the junior olympics...

Personal: Parents are April and Biff Beltz... Has one brother and one sister, Billy and Bekah... Her brother played football at Cal Poly... Beltz' sister was a rower for San Diego State... Majoring in elementary education.

Head Coach Welch on Beltz: "Zoe came in as a freshman and immediately became a starter for our team. She was 3rd on the team in hitting percentage. After spending the past spring rehabbing her shoulder, we look forward to her improved power this fall. Zoe offers an offensive threat all along the net, and has proven to be very consistent at closing the block."
