Lisa Bushman

Player Profile

Position:
Assistant Coach

Experience:
2nd Year

Lisa Bushman joined the coaching staff last season after playing three seasons as a setter for Idaho State. She joined the coaching ranks in the spring of 2006 after an unfortunate injury ended her playing career.

As a player for Idaho State, the California native helped the Bengals to three-straight Big Sky Conference Tournament appearances, including a 20-win season in 2003, which was the first for the Bengals since 1990.

Bushman served as a team captain in 2004 and 2005. As impressive in the classroom as she was on the court, Bushman was a three-time Big Sky All-Academic honoree and was the Major of the Year for the Sport Science and Physical Education Department in 2006.

Bushman graduated from Idaho State with a bachelor's degree in physical education in 2006 and is pursuing a master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in athletic administration while finishing a second bachelor's degree in mathematics.
