Katie Edgson begins her second season coaching at Idaho State, after spending her first season as graduate assistant coach. In her first season Edgson helped the Bengals to a 10-match win season, the first since 2006. The lone senior from the 2007 squad, competed for Idaho State from 2004-07 and was the 10th Bengal to reach 1,000 career digs. Edgson will use her expertise to guide the defensive players.

Edgson's duties will also include preparation and coordination of video, travel preparations and equipment management. She will be finishing her degree in elementary education in the fall and working on her masters in Athletic Administration while she helps coach the Bengals.
