Had a strong first season with the Bengals... A versatile player who ranked among the team leaders in nearly every category... A transfer from the University of Denver... Her club team, High Country, was runner-up at the Junior Olympics in 2001 and earned All-Tournament team honors.
2002: Was fourth on the team in kills with 154, an average of nearly 1.90 per game... Topped the 10 kill mark six times, including two matches with 20... Equally strong on the defensive side, posting 10 or more digs four times... Had two double-doubles on the season... Had her best match of the season against Portland State, picking up 18 kills and 12 digs, while posting just two attack errors for a .500 attack percentage (10/10)... After getting no more than seven kills in a single match in her first 13 matches she broke out with 20 against Sacramento State in the Bengals Big Sky opener (9/26)... She also added 13 digs for her first double-double as a Bengal... She matched that kill total with 20 against Northern Arizona (10/25)... In just her fourth match with ISU she had seven kills, 13 digs and a season-high five block assists against Oregon (9/2).
2001 (Denver): Saw action in 25 matches for the 13-18 Pioneers, playing in 57 games... Recorded 49 kills (0.86 kpg), 76 digs (1.33 dpg), 19 total blocks, 11 assists and five aces during the season... Tallied a double-double against Louisiana-Lafayette with 10 kills on 28 total attacks and 16 digs, while also putting up five blocks and three assists, all of which were career highs... Best hitting percentage of the season was .500 at Louisiana-Lafayette with seven kills on 14 total attacks. High School: Lettered three years at Bingham High School, earning First-Team All-State honors from both the Deseret News and The Salt Lake Tribune in 2000... An All-State Coaches' Team selection... Helped team to fourth-place state finishes in both 1998 and 2000 as well as a state playoff appearance in 1999... Also competed in Europe with USA Volleyball's Intermountain Region High Performance Team with Olsen and Filipe... Played on the 19-and-under Intermountain Region team during the summer of 2002... Club team won the regional championship in 2000 and 2001, earning Gilmore All-Region honors in 2001. Personal: Parents are Doug and Leslie Gilmore... Sister, Heather, plays volleyball for the University of Oregon, which ISU will face September 2 in Eugene, Ore.
