2005: Saw action in each of ISU's 29 matches... Played in 106 games for the Bengals... Ranked third on the team in total attacks with 478, while connecting on 131 kills... Posted a career-high 11 kills in two matches, at Weber State (10/29) and against Montana State (11/17) in the Big Sky Conference Tournament... Nearly recorded a double-double with a career-high 12 digs, seven kills, and a career-high six assists against Northern Arizona (11/5)... Had a career-high six blocks at Utah Valley State (9/16) with five block assists... Tallied a pair of service aces against Montana (10/14).

Oklahoma: Played one season at the University of Oklahoma... Also had success off the court as she was named to the Dean's List.

High School: Played volleyball, soccer, and basketball at Eaglecrest High School... Led team to a league title... Received Frist Team All-State honors in 2000... Was also named team MVP for her performance.

Personal: Parents are Ken and Gwenda Maughan... Has three siblings, Tifanee, Tyler, and Ashlee... Karli's sister Tifanee is among the all-time point leaders for the Colorado State Pueblo soccer team... Maughan's brother also played soccer at CSU... Majoring in sociology/social work.

Head Coach Welch on Maughan: "Karli is a positive influence and leader on our team. Her smile is contagious. Yet it is her threat at the net that will have opponents take notice. After starting on the right side and being third on the team in blocks this past fall, her blocking has improved even more this spring. Karli also improved her hitting by almost 100 points as well. We look to Karli to make a senior impact at the net and give her team a confidence to rise to the top."
