Orem, UT--Idaho State out-blocked North Texas 11 team blocks to five to continue on its winning streak of two victories in its four game defeat over the Mean Green (26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23) at Utah Valley in the Shurian Family Activity Center on Saturday afternoon. The Bengals posted 11 team blocks and one solo block from sophomore Britta Bartschi and only committed two block errors. Junior Emily Waldron posted her third double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 digs while setter Blakely Peppinger recorded 40 assists, a career-high, and 12 digs.
The Bengals look to continue their success as they play for a first place against tournament host Utah Valley 7 p.m. at the Shurian Family Activity Center.
