Volleyball Team to Sponsor Co-Ed 6's Volleyball Tourney on February 23

Pocatello, ID --- The Idaho State volleyball team will be sponsoring a Co-Ed six-person Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 23rd from 8:00am - 5:00 pm in Reed Gym. The format will consist of morning pool play followed by a single elimination tournament including consolation matches. All levels of play are welcome as there will be power, intermediate, and novice divisions. All teams must have at least two women on the court at all times. The event is open to anyone 18 years or older who is no longer a high school student or junior college volleyball athlete. There will be an assortment of prizes for winners in addition to raffle prizes and ISU volleyball giveaways.

The volleyball team and staff will act as referees and tournament officials for the event. "With many avid volleyball enthusiasts in our community, we are happy to provide an opportunity for students and community members to play the sport that we love. In addition, it is a wonderful way for our athletes and fans to have an opportunity to interact outside of our competitive season," said Associate Head Coach Mika Robinson. The cost is $120 per team of 6 plus $10 for each additional person on the roster. There will be a $20 late fee for teams who register the day of the event.
