Logan, UT--Idaho State continued its spring competitions with two matches at Utah State on Saturday afternoon in the HPER Building. Idaho State began the day with a combined practice with Utah State and Southern Utah, and then played three sets against each team regardless of the outcome. The Bengals focus for the spring is to improve fundamentals in their competitions and changing tactics.

"Overall we played well and passed-served well," said head coach Chad Teichert in his first spring season with the Bengals. "Karissa (Legaux) did a nice job at the setter position for us."

Idaho State opened play on Saturday with three sets against Southern Utah winning the first and third while the Thunderbirds captured the second set. Against Utah State the Bengals fell in all three sets.

Idaho State will continue its spring schedule at Utah Valley on Saturday, April 11 in Orem, UT.
