This past weekend we had two really intense matches. We returned home after some long road trips to play Weber State on Friday night followed by UVSC on Saturday. We took Weber to 5 games and we all played really well. Each game was a battle right up to the final points. We came up just short in the end however, with a 11-15 loss in the 5th game.

Against Utah Valley, Charlee Kinghorn had a team high of 19 digs and also was one of the leaders at the net for us with 12 kills. We were all excited to return home and were impressed by how many fans we had.

The spotlight player this week is Britta Bartschi. Britta is a Freshman this year and is from St. Anthony Idaho. Britta is very versatile and has played many different positions for us. She is an awesome hitter and a great blocker! Britta played club volleyball with Kolay and Christine before they all became Bengals. She loves being with her family and always has a great attitude.

We are looking forward to our next match when we host Sacramento State this Friday at 7 p.m. Thanks for all of your support and we hope to see you this weekend! Go Bengals!
