This weekend was a tough one for us again. We lost to Eastern Washington and to Portland state. It was difficult to look at the disappointment on the faces of my teammates after each match. With Amanda stepping up in the game vs. Eastern playing libero for the first time, and Zoe really stepping it up with her hitting in the game vs. Portland State, it was even harder to loose.

This week we have only one match. This means that we have the opportunity to get in a little more practice time. This will help us to get ready not only for Weber but for the rest of the season as well. Hopefully we will come back from our next road trip with more good news than bad.

Although our results have not been what we had hoped for so far this season, this team has been making steps in the right direction. We are working hard to do the best that we can, however, our best has only been coming out in spurts. We are working on consistent play that will help us come up with more victories.

We will see you next weekend when we play NAU and SAC for our last home weekend.
