The Bengals one conference win this season did come against the Montana State Bobcats.

About Montana State
The Bobcats are sitting in last place in the Big Sky Conference. They have yet to win a conference match this season. They have only one win this season and that came against Mike Welch's old team, North Florida. Montana State is coming of a 3-0 sweep to the hands of league leader Sacramento State. After facing the Bengals on Friday, the Bobcats will end their season against Weber State. The match this week is an early start at 5:30 pm because of a home basketball game for the Bobcats after the volleyball match.

Last Time vs. Montana State
It took all five games, but the Idaho State Bengals outlast the Montana State Bobcats 3-2 (27-30, 30-24, 30-27, 24-30, 15-11) to pick up their first Big Sky win of the season. ISU breaks their nine game losing streak. Sara Carson led the charge for the Bengals with a career high 15 kills, hitting .433 in the process. She also tied her career best in blocks with 7. Charlee Kinghorn picked up her second double-double of the week with 16 kills and 16 digs. Britta Bartschi reached double figure kills for the first time in her career by slamming down 13 of them. Emily Waldron fought off a heavily bandaged thigh to pick up 10 kills and 18 digs.

About Montana
The Grizzlies are on the outside looking in when it comes to the Big Sky Tournament. They trail Northern Arizona by a half match for the 6th and final tournament spot. To make the post season Montana has to at least finish tied with the Lumberjacks in the standings to make the tournament. The Grizzlies have two reamining matches against Weber State Friday and Idaho State Saturday. Northern Arizona finishes with Northern Colorado on Saturday. The Bengals could play spoiler for Montana if they can beat the Grizzlies.

Last Time vs Montana
The Montana Grizzlies hand the Idaho State Bengals their ninth straight loss 3-1 (26-30, 30-25, 22-30, 20-30) at Reed Gym.
