Complete Cross Country Notes: Autumn Classic
QUICKLY
Idaho State hosted the first of two Idaho State Duals on Aug. 30 at the Centennial Course. The men finished third out of four teams and the women came in second out of three. Southern Utah won both races. Ryan Davis was the men's fastest runner, placing 11th overall, while the women had three athletes place in the top four, led by overall winner Gemma Maini.
QUOTE FROM THE COACH
"On the men's side, we're inexperienced and young," head coach Brian Janssen said. "But Ryan Davis and Logan Torgison are already showing they're going to be pretty young. So the future is bright, but it might be a year away. The women ran well. They could be pretty good by the end of the year."
