Ogden, UT-- Sarah Skeem was placed on the Big Sky All-Conference Cross Country team for her 8th place performance at the Big Sky Championships. Skeem finished the 5-kilometer race with a time of 18:01.2 just five seconds behind the next competitor.

Skeem has led the lady Bengals in all of her races this year. She finished in first place at the ISU vs SUU and UVSC meet. She ran a 3k race in a time of 10:36. In her second meet of the season the BYU Autumn Classic she finished in 7th place with a time of 18:55.1 in a 5k race. At the Albertson College and ISU dual Sarah finished in 1st place with a time of 15:44 in a 4k event. In Montana at the University of Montana Invitational Skeem finished in 7th place with a time of 22:26 in a race of 6k. The next meet the Southern Utah University Color Country Invitational Sarah once again finished the race in 1st place. She posted a time of 17:15.13 in a 5k race. Sarah Skeem ran to an 8th place finish in the Big Sky Championships with a time of 18:01.2 in a 5k race.

Skeem was also voted Cross Country Runner of the Week by the Big Sky the week of October 17th. She was voted in for her performance at the SUU Color Country Invitational. She placed in 1st with a time nine seconds faster than her next opponent. This was the first time since 1999 that ISU has had a female runner of the week in the Big Sky.
